Judgment Upon The Church

The Lord says "...my people perish for lack of knowledge." The Church is filled with ignorance today. They are not being fed, corrected, or protected. The enemy has taken over many Churches if not all in some part. Be careful. Test all spirits. The false teachers, soft pastors, and manipulation by those over the Church (tares) are preventing many from growing up in the faith and reproducing. Don't be one of these. Get into the Book. The Holy Spirit will tell you what It says if you will ask and believe that He will. The separation of the tares from the wheat has begun. Don't believe me...look around you...and ask the Lord to reveal the truth of this message. He will.

I don't understand everything in the Bible, but I accept it by faith as God's inspired word, and the Holy Spirtit is my constant guide. The One who wrote 'The Book' has come to reveal Jesus to me and "write His words on the tablet of my heart". I have determined to give every day for the glory of God. To keep my focus on Him and know that "the steps of a righteous man/woman are ordered by the Lord. I've learned to be confident in God's ability to accomplish His purposes through me and that His timing is perfect. I know that God is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. I have become like David, "a man after God's own heart". I know that God has always had a plan for my life and now, finally, I'm walking in it. I responded to an 'altar call' as a child-the memory of that night engraved in my mind. The Lord allowed me to take many detours over the years, using them to prepare me for the fulfillment of His plan for my life. Over the years I've learned many lessons about trusting God. Jesus has been changing me into a more compassionate, forgiving, loving person. I've learned that God is forever faithful-in seeing us come out victorious in all situations. It's wonderful to walk by faith with Jesus knowing that He leads; I follow. I hope this blogsite is a blessing to you. If it is, let me know. God bless.

The Clock Is Ticking

We are in the last hours. The darkest hour is just before the dawn. The Church is rapidly moving into a state of apostasy. Dark forces have been liberated which are producing an evil upon the Church as upon the world. We need a fresh revelation of sin and true repentance. The reason why many lose the sense of the sinfulness of sin is that they get away from the reality of Christ's atoning death, for it is only at the cross that we get a vision of the depths and misery of sin. And it is only at the cross that we learn of the depths and joy of true love. "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16

LOOK TO CHRIST FOR YOUR SALVATION

Salvation is far more than having our sins forgiven. It is more than escaping Hell and gaining Heaven. It is more than regeneration. The New Birth is not the end of salvation but the beginning of it. To many, the Christian life is the difficult task of trying to live right, or of trying to live in such a way that they will go to Heaven when they die. This is sham Christianity, and it is sheer drudgery! The Christian life brings joy and satisfaction when we discover that Christ is our life. Salvation is not in the way we live, it is not in what we do, or in what we do not do; it is not in a church fellowship, in a creed, in ordinances, or in doctrines, but in a Person- the Lord Jesus Christ. This great truth that life is in Christ is so obvious that you may wonder why I emphasize it in this way. The sad fact remains that many who take the Name of Christ do not understand this. Many preachers today speak of a plan of salvation rather than the Person of salvation. Many fundamental Bible teachers and preachers put an undue emphasis on salvation by believing right doctrine. Doctrine is good, necessary, vital, and of great importance, but doctrine will never give life. We are not saved by knowing doctrine in our head, but by believing in Christ with our heart. ( Acts 8: 37: Romans 10: 9,10 ) In the past we were saved from the guilt and penalty of sin the very moment we exercised saving faith in Christ. In the present we are saved from the power and dominion of sin as we learn to let Christ live His life through us. And, in the future we will be saved from the presence of sin either by physical death or through the Rapture. We are to be conformed to the image of Christ; we are to grow up unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ. We do this as we learn to walk in the Spirit. In the future we shall be made like Christ. The sinner does not exercise saving faith in Christ until he is brought to the end of his own resources. As long as he thinks that he can be saved through religious activity, by living right, or by being baptized, he will not trust Christ to save him. When he discovers that none of these things can save him, and that there is nothing he can do to save himself, he will look away from himself and his own efforts and look to Christ. In that moment he is saved, justified, declared righteous. He is 'born again' by the Spirit of God; he is indwelt by the Spirit of God; he is baptized by the Spirit into the 'Body of Christ'; he is sealed by the Spirit until the day of redemption. In the same way, as long as the Christian thinks that he can live the Christian life in his own strength, he will try to do so. As long as he compares himself with other Christians, and thinks that he is doing wonderfully well, he will never know the true meaning of the Christian life. But, when the Christian discovers his own bankruptcy, when he discovers his own inability to live the Christian life, when he sees his own depravity, then he will begin to look away from himself and will look to Christ. He will begin to learn to live by faith. ( Habakkuk 2:4; Romans 1:17; Galatians 3:11; Hebrews 10:38 ) The most important lesson for any Christian to learn is that salvation is in knowing and loving the Lord Jesus Christ. The second great lesson for us to learn is that we live the Christian life by letting Christ live His life through us. We do not live the Christian life by trying, but by trusting. Just as we were justified by an act of faith, now we are to live in a constant attitude of faith. We were justified by believing that Christ died for our sins, and that He was buried and that He rose again. We live by faith when we look to the Christ on the Cross-the Christ who now lives within us through His indwelling Holy Spirit-and trust Him to live His life through us. And we are blessed just being in His presence and watching Him work as He fulfills His plan for our lives.

The atoning , substitutionary death of Christ at Calvary is the foundation of all that God does for us. The Cross is the basis of our justification, reconcilation, and regeneration; but these transactions are not the end of our salvation, but the beginning. Having been reconciled to God by the death of His Son, we are now to let the living, resurrected Christ live in us. We are saved by His life (Romans 5:10). When we are saved, we are made partakers of the very nature of God (II Peter 1:4). Our bodies become the temple of the Holy Spirit (I Corinthians 6:19). Christ has redeemed our bodies that He might live in them as His own body. It is not our doing the best we can with the help of God. It is Christ living in and through us. God's great purpose in redemption is not merely to save us from Hell and to take us to Heaven, but it is His will and purpose that we should be conformed to the image of His Son (Romans 8:29). It is not only His will that we should be 'born again', but that we should grow up unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ (Ephesians 4:13). He must be all, and in all (Colossians 3:11). He is in us; we are in Him (John 14:20). We are complete in Him, in whom dwelleth all the fullness of the Godhead bodily (Colossians 2:9,10). The Holy Spirit of God dwells in us to reveal Christ to us and glorify Him through us (I Corinthians 2:10; John 16:14). In spite of God's great purpose for us, and in spite of His perfect provision for us, our 'churches' are filled with beggerly, barren, bankrupt Christians. God has promised us power, but we are powerless. It is the will of God that we should be fruitful, but we are barren. It is the will of God for us to be Spirit- filled, but we are self- filled. It is the will of God for us to evangelize the world, but how often do you tell someone about Jesus? In view of the greatness and power of God, why is it that His Church is in such a deplorable condition? The Christian has three great enemies that must be overcome. Our first and greatest enemy is self. Our greatest sin is the sin of unbelief. Self gets in the way and keeps us from utilizing the unlimited resources of Christ. Our other two enemies are the world and the devil. God permits these enemies to assail us so that we may learn to trust Him. He wants us to find our all and all in Christ.

The Blood Of Jesus Has Opened Heaven

The Power of the Blood of Jesus
